#CHAtweetup2012 Sponsor Spotlight: La Flor Dominicana

Between now and the Chattanooga Tweet-Up, we will be featuring "spotlight" posts on each of the sponsors of the event. The order was chosen randomly.

La Flor Dominicana has been in business for nearly 2 decades now and was at the forefront of today's "full-bodied cigar" movement. They created the Ligero and Double Ligero lines before full-bodied cigars were all the rage, then followed that up with the Coronado and Air Bender blends. This last year, they took a sideways turn and produced the Double Claro, one of the most full-flavored medium-bodied candelas on the market, then re-branded their original "Premium Line" as "LFD Light" to give new attention to the fact that they have always made mild cigars with a great flavor profile.

This year, they are releasing the Limitado V, the next installment in one of their popular full-bodied limited edition lines. They are releasing Corona and Robusto Double Ligeros in crystal tubos and expanding the Ligero line with the Torpedito, a small torpedo measuring 4.75" x 50 ring gauge. They took the Coronado as a basis for the new Oro line, packaged in gold tubes and featuring Dominican fillers and dark Nicaraguan wrappers.

We thank La Flor Domincana for once again sponsoring the Chattanooga Tweet-Up. As a company they are a favorite of both Keith and me, as evidenced by the number of reviews we have posted for their products:
