#CHAtweetup2012 Sponsor Spotlight: Drew Estate Cigars

Between now and the Chattanooga Tweet-Up, we will be featuring "spotlight" posts on each of the sponsors of the event. The order was chosen randomly.

Drew Estate made their name in unique cigars with interesting flavors: various Acid lines, Ambrosia, and Natural (not flavored, but still interesting and unique flavors) among others. They had started with a line of "regular" cigars called La Vieja Habana and had tried to break out of the flavored mode with the Chateau Real, but it wasn't until the Liga Privada No. 9 debuted in the late '00s that people really started seeing Drew Estate in a new light. You can read the whole story HERE.

Since then, the T-52 and Undercrown regular lines as well as various Unico lines like the Dirty Rat and specialized sizes like the Flying Pig have continually surprised and delighted those smokers who love full-bodied smokes. The "My Uzi Weighs A Ton" blend debuted about a year ago in a variety of 60 ring gauge-based sizes and the smaller version called "Baitfish" is slated to go national very soon.

Drew Estate also is the distributor of Joya de Nicaragua Cigars in the United States. We will joined at the 2012 Chattanooga Tweet-Up by Drew Estate president, Steve Saka; master blender, Willy Herrera; Eastern U.S. Sales Director, Dave Lafferty; and our area sales rep, Jeff Tinnell.

These are reviews we have published previously for Drew Estate and Joya de Nicaragua products:
