Event: Zino Platinum Black Carpet

Thursday, September 29, 2011, Burns Tobacconist in Chattanooga, TN, was the scene of another blowout killer event this time featuring Zino Platinum cigars and company rep, Garrett Calhoun. Walking in the door got you a sample of the newest offering, the Z-Class, the fullest-bodied and most affordable Zino Platinum. The real attraction, though, was the event bag, costing $225 and featuring a ton of great stogies and swag.

The tunes pumped out as people mingled. Free photos were part of the event, too, either with other attendees or with the models that were there. You can check out the entire set of pictures at the Zino Platinum Facebook page HERE. Everyone buying a bag got a raffle ticket; if you bought a second bag, you got 9 more tickets. That resulted in one person winning close to half the prizes...and he had been convinced by Wes, manager of Burns Downtown, the night before to make the trip. He walked away with cigars, a cutter, and the grand prize, a new iPad 2. Others got a lighter and more cigars.

I want to leave you with two thoughts: If you're a Zino Platinum fan, you really should go to one of these events if one happens near you...and if there's not one near you, you should pick up the phone today and buy one of the leftover event bags from Burns. Each bag contained the following items (most of which are pictured at the top of this post...I smoked a couple cigars before taking the picture):

A trio of Crown Series Chubby Especial
6 Z-Class (2 550R, 2 546P, 1 654T, 1 643C)
1 Stout
1 Pudge
1 2009 Crown Series Emperor Edition
1 Sceptre Series Grand Master
3 Crown Series Tubes (1 Barrel, 1 Rocket, 1 Double Grande)
1 Tin of Scepter Series XS (10 Small Cigars)
1 Long-Sleeve Z-Class T-Shirt (M, L and XL available as of Thursday night)
1 Zino Platinum “Ashboat” Ashtray (all black as found in Zino Platinum Lounges)

The 3-pack of Chubby Especials retail for about $100 all by themselves. I smoked one the other day and was blown away by the amount of flavor. In all there are 16 full-sizes cigars and a tin of 10 small cigars, plus the swag. Full retail on everything runs near $500, but Burns will sell you one of these bags for $225, including shipping anywhere in the U.S.. Call Burns Tobacconist at 423-855-5200 to get in on the action.
